Planting Seeds of Hope

GROW Fundraising Campaign focuses on providing a full cycle of services to the family farm in third world countries from seed to sale. We believe in helping the entire farming community, not just the farm.

The values in each step of our program are:

• Think Global, Act Local – being big by being small
• Farms = Food … & jobs & community & healthcare & infrastructure & sustainability!
• Flat Organization structure with majority of funding going to program recipients
• Christian Values and family focus

The vision is to support organic coffee and banana farming by:

• Purchasing Land – some land is anticipated to be donated to JMJ for this program; a great benefit of knowing great people!
• Supporting Sustainable Infrastructure to support farming and communities
• Initiating a Seedling Nursery Program that is green and sustainable
• Planting Seedlings of coffee and banana trees, supporting cash crops and long-term farming of high-value shade coffee
• Providing Farming Equipment with sustainability in mind and where appropriate, to provide volume opportunities in a global market
• Supporting Direct Trade for local farmers, bringing more income to areas in need and supporting higher equitability in a global market
• Building & Supporting Community Programs like:
  • Healthcare Programs
  • Education
  • Other Community Building, such as physical structures like churches and community centers, and valuable and necessary commodities like shoes, bikes, and clothing.
